Itinerary

The service

  1. 9:00 a.m: Pickup at your Cusco hotel and departure for the Sacred Valley
We will begin our journey to the province of Calca, passing through Andean landscapes, agricultural terraces, and traditional villages along the way.

  2. 10:00 a.m: "Sounds of the Andes" - spiritual experience with ancestral instruments
Our first stop is at a sacred natural site, where we will take part in a guided sound meditation session featuring pre-Inca and Inca instruments, such as pututos, quenas, antaras, zampoñas, drums, rattles, and seeds.
Ancient sages used sound to communicate with the Apus (mountain spirits) and Pachamama (Mother Earth). During this experience, you will bring your body, mind, and spirit into harmony in an environment of profound natural energy.

  3. 11:30 a.m: Arrival in Chahuaytiri - Andean textile demonstration
In this historic Quechua village, community members have preserved Inca weaving techniques for generations. Here, you will learn about the waist loom, natural dyes made from cochineal, molle, k'olle, and ch'illca, as well as the sacred symbols woven into ponchos, chullos, and blankets.
Weaving is more than an art; it's a language that tells stories of mythology and ancestral wisdom.

  4. 12:30 p.m : Short walk to the Carañahui cave paintings
Very close to the village is a set of cave paintings dating back thousands of years. The paintings depict human figures, animals, and geometric shapes associated with the rituals and worldview of the valley's first inhabitants.
During the walk, enjoy views of agricultural terraces, high Andean flora, and fields of native potatoes. This sacred tuber has more than 3,000 varieties in Peru.

  5. 1:00 p.m: Traditional Andean lunch in the community
Sample a traditional Andean meal made with local ingredients, such as quinoa, potatoes, oca, beans, corn, trout, and guinea pig, accompanied by herbal tea.

  6. 2:30 p.m: Free time to purchase local handicrafts (optional)
Support local artisans by purchasing original, handmade textiles that showcase their culture and heritage.

  7. 3:30 p.m: Return to Cusco. The approximate arrival time is 5:30 p.m.
